Cataclysmic Fun!

By: John Caruso

The flash programmers at Greenpeace have outdone themselves with a web site where you can create a little cardboard dude with your own image and a nifty slogan, to be delivered by Greenpeace to the Copenhagen climate summit.  I recommend "U R A JACKASS", but hey, go wild.

And don't forget that this Saturday (October 24th) is the international day of climate action; you can find an action in your area at 350.org's actions page.  Invite all your friends and make it a day of disaster-mitigating merriment!

Here in Madison, we're spelling out "350" with vegetables purchased at the local farmer's market. Take that, big oil companies!

And here's a nice widget that you can post on your blog or website showing the current atmospheric CO2 levels. It would be good if at least as many people were aware of that number as are aware of the Dow Jones Average.

FLASH IS THE CANCER OF THE INTERNET. Much worse that all caps any day. Greenpeace, do the internet a favor and don't promote non-free proprietary BULLSHIT standards like Flash. That goes for everybody WAKE UP SHEEPLE.

Do your part! Call Adobe CEO's Charles M. Geschke and John E. Warnock @1-800-H0T-833F every day and tell them to open up the format that is KILLING THE INTERNET.

Oh yeah, that last post was serious, but this is more serious: If you want to save the environment #1 stop paying taxes to the federal government. The Federal government uses more oil than any other entity on earth by far. It also has a feedback loop with the citizens of the USA states by promoting our wasteful sinful ways (Adobe CEO's I'm looking at you) and feeding off them in turn. Yuck.

In case youse CEO's are reading: Yes It's true because I have totally libre software on my computer except for ONE STUPID THING -- guess what it is. And can you guess the reason that their is exactly 1 attack vector on my computer?
