Crazy Dave Gaubatz Still Crazy

Important news from The Hill:

Republican members of the Congressional Anti-Terrorism Caucus said the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) have tried to plant “spies” within key national-security committees in order to shape legislative policy.

Reps. Sue Myrick (R-N.C.), John Shadegg (R-Ariz.), Paul Broun (R-Ga.) and Trent Franks (R-Ariz.), citing the book Muslim Mafia: Inside the Secret Underworld that's Conspiring to Islamize America, called for the House sergeant at arms to investigate whether CAIR had been successful in placing interns on key panels.

One of the authors of Muslim Mafia is Dave Gaubatz. Gaubatz was last seen explaining how he'd discovered "biological and chemical weapons, material for a nuclear programme and UN-proscribed missiles" in gigantic underground bunkers in Iraq. The only reason you don't know about this is because the Bush administration covered it up (quite possibly due to their infiltration by Muslim interns).

Gaubatz is also the "Director of Intelligence and Counter-terrorism Studies" for the Society of Americans for National Existence, or SANE. While it's no longer publicly available, SANE's manifesto used to read:

National Existence is political order experienced by men of the nation as a Rise to Being. Its opposite is a replacement of political order experienced by men, women, children and slaves as a Fall from Being. This Redirection in the experience of the Terms of Being (Self, Society, G-d and World) results in the collapse of Self into Society and all into World. The goal, wittingly or otherwise: a World State.

SANE opposes this Redirection and its manifestations: chants of Racism, Democracy, Equal Rights, Human Rights, Women's Rights, Animal Rights, and the always growing list of what is the Single Concept: Certainty/Uncertainty = Science/Open Society = World. To understand this reciprocal and how it affects a convergence of factors bent on the destruction of National Existence is to be SANE.

SANE is the first step back into the Present. And it is this step "back" to National Existence that will secure the present and protect the future.

So you can see why these Republican politicians wanted to associate themselves with Gaubatz. Like us all, they are attempting to understand this reciprocal.

P.S. It would be nice if The Hill, Politico, Greg Sargent at the Washington Post, and TPM Muckraker could point out that these Republicans are basing their claims on the work of a psychotic.

Speaking of crazy, check out some of the comments on the report at The Hill

Senator Ellison should be removed from office along with any other Muslims! If we don't have the courage now to defend this nation, it will soon be too late.

The "resistance to transparency" is not different with CAIR than it is with the present day congress and President (which is Muslim).

CAIR is linked to terrorists. It needs to be watched very closely. M Savage is correct about CAIR.

Treason and crimes against America by the Muslim Obama. Now CAIR agents infiltrate Homeland un security with thes weakist person to ever run this possistion, and Hillary invites the Russians to inspect and know where our secret nukes are and their capabilities. I want anwers this intire democrap congress should be put in Jail NOW. Hillary, Obama should be Tried for treason and get the death sentence!

And that's just from the first two pages. Please compare the spelling in that last one with this bit, quoted in the article from Crazy Dave's website:

“Please support me in these eforts [sic] to help shut this terror supporting organization down. donate all weekend. We need to raise $25,000 to put more research in the field and to bring more intelligence agianst [sic] them … If you want to protect your children and America, then help me now.”

How many of those comments did Crazy Dave write himself?

"It would be nice if The Hill, Politico, Greg Sargent at the Washington Post, and TPM Muckraker could point out that these Republicans are basing their claims on the work of a psychotic."

Seems kind of tautologous.

That's some mighty fun stuff. Just wow.

As much as i dislike the Democrats and the current Administration, it's always good to be reminded how LOONY the Republican Right is.

Jim Henley writes:

"The best news of all is that, according to his (Gaubatz') personal website, “Since returning from Iraq, Dave has lectured to more than 4000 U.S. Law Enforcement officers and hundreds of security professionals in Basic Investigative Arabic and Counter-terrorism issues related to Islamic Extremist Terrorist Groups.”

Posted by: Oarwell at October 15, 2009 11:25 AM

Yeah, yeah, funny as hell, except that he probably really has lectured half the cops and "security professionals" in the US.

Never underestimate the power of bullshit.

I would think TPM would point out Gaubatz's whackadoodlery if they knew about it. I haven't noticed that they avoid mocking yahoos.

Some additional info on Dave Gaubatz.......
"He’s the “investigator” who “infiltrated” mosques in the D.C. area claiming to have uncovered militant Islamist cells which threaten America’s welfare."

Rupa Shah; Interesting link!
Just ANOTHER warmonger that can't WIN A WAR, physically doesn't know how to fight, wouldn't EVER march into battle, carry and use a rifle without being DRAFTED, would CRY alot in basic training, wet his panties at the FIRST shot.

Josh Marshall on the TPM main page now has this story, which cries out for someone to make the Dave Gaubatz connection. Jon, you should email TPM.

The bit also raises the question: Is Chris G. the son or brother of DG, or DG himself? His 'cover' name was Dave, after all...):

Also, in the "intern spy" vs. "intern spy" department, here's actual intern spy Chris Gaubatz, who went undercover as Muslim convert intern "Dave Marshall" at CAIR, in a photo last year with genuine Muslim Congressman Andre Carson (D-IN).

I didn't include the link because I don't want this going into the moderation queue.

I am afraid the "Republican Right" is no different than the "Right-Wing Democrats" where I am concerned, where my fiscal health is concerned, where my personal rights are concerned, where my happiness as an American is concerned.

I guess it feels great to every now and then, pull out some bizarre statements by a "Rethug" and attack those well-hated mortal enemies.

Wouldn't be tough to find similar idiocy from Democrats, if that's what you wanted to find and poke fingers at. Wouldn't be tough at all. One might not have to go further than Obama or Biden, in fact.

But hell, let's poke at the Rethugs, it makes all the Donkey-Romanticizers feel great about their lifetimes spent idolizing The Donkle.

Oops. Didn't read far enough; in a previous post, JM notes that Chris G is the son of crazy Dave Gaubatz. But the coverage definitely could benefit from a pointer to Dave Gaubatz' SANE manifesto.

@Oarwell: Is the Jim Henley excerpt from an old post, email, comment on someone else's post, or...? I don't see a recent UO post on the subject.

Posted by: Nell at October 15, 2009 04:26 PM

Mike Meyer:
Your comment really cracked me up. These guys are REALLY pathetic and dangerous, so quick to malign people, start wars and send others to kill and get killed but would never go to get killed themselves.
John Bolton, who now talks about Nuclear attack on Iran ( is it about nuclear capability or it being an Islamic state or both? ), would never think of defending the USA if he was the only guy standing! What is with WARMONGERS? I have never understood that.

Posted by: Rupa Shah at October 15, 2009 04:29 PM

Well, Anti-Federalist, you do have a point. (I don't really romanticize the Dembots). Heck...Obama's very acceptance of a "Peace Prize" in itself is an example of wackaloonery.

Posted by: BMiller at October 15, 2009 04:37 PM

and Oarwell if I may,

Excerpt by Oarwell is from

It also adds,
"Actually the best news of all is that I’m pretty sure “4000″ is a tiny fraction of all the law enforcement officers and security professionals in the United States. But competing for best news is, Dave Gaubatz was the 1st U.S. Civilian Federal Agent sent into Iraq at the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. which would explain an awful lot about what went wrong there.

No, you're wrong. It's Sane Billionaires vs. Insane Billionaires.

And I think this post tells us which ones the Republicans are.

Would you rather be trampled by a herd of elephants, or gang-sodomized by a pack of donkeys? America is a free country, because you have the power to VOTE between these two choices, (as far as Diebold allows discretion.)

As sickening as it is to listen to these chickenhawks play tough guy and start wars for other people to fight, I don't think that having warmongers in charge who actually have gone into combat and slaughtered other people is any better.

Posted by: Marcus at October 15, 2009 10:18 PM

Marcus; AGREED. Why ANY military can crush, kill, destroy and attempt to occupy. Its the ability to WIN where ALL theories fall apart. Sure, I could go out and harass my neighbors, BUT if keep getting my ass kicked or shot then WTF. I could try to steal their land, BUT if I come home with ONLY the mud they rubbed my face in while kicking my head in, then again WTF. If I spend ALL I have to buy guns to fight my neighbors and STILL for some reason can't take their land then who is the fool in that picture.
