Hillary! Because They Won't Shoot Her In The Head

Yesterday in New Hampshire, one of Hillary Clinton's local supporters introduced her like this:

"Some people compare one of the other candidates to John F. Kennedy. But he was assassinated."

There are a whole bunch of implications tied up in this that aren't flattering to Hillary Clinton, America, or homo sapiens generally.

In any case, people don't seem to get shot in the head much anymore in American politics. I suspect that's because the people who you'd expect to do the shooting have perfected Assassination By Media.

Dead hookers and live boys, Jonathan. Or maybe live hookers and dead girls. The universe is expanding.

Nah, they just realized politicians don't actually wield power and so sit back and let the kids play their little Democracy game while they meet in the board rooms of the media conglomerates and decide the fate of humanity, how many channels it will be televise don and who gets the biggest cut.

One was killed in an airplane crash with his family in 2002. Another, running against John Ashcroft, was killed in a plane crash in 2000.

Not that there's a pattern there.

I'd be afraid to comment on a thread with a title like this under my real name.
