Sorry to be so blunt, HM, but fuck off. Corporal punishment has precisely dick to do with this. I certainly received a heavy hand as a child. As far as I can tell I haven't shot up any neighborhoods. Possibly this is because I'm so trapped within my own psychosis that I am unable to recognize the horrible crimes I've committed. But more likely it's because corporal punishment has nothing to do with anything. The dude was a crazy fuck-head. Period. End of story. Stop trying to extrapolate your stereotypes into some sort of morality tale.

Seriously.

I concur(regarding HM's upbraiding).

On a semi-pedantic note, I wonder about the propriety(and legality) of releasing Cho's 1 act plays. They can be read(narrowly) as an indication that his stepdad (or another male adult)may have molested him, and essentially putting forth such an allegation is really unfair to his family, which is going through more than enough without having to deal with that.

I'm not saying they should never have been released, but doing so within hours of the whole incident just seems like feeding our collective sick appetite for tragedy porn.

ok, I guess I should've said insinuation rather than allegation, but you know what I mean.
