Condoleezza Rice Is Only Giving Encouragement To The Terrorists

After so many years of Condoleezza Rice telling us we're loser-defeatists who're only encouraging the terrorists to think they can beat us, I can't help enjoying this:

[S]tatements such as Rice's "give morale boosts for the terrorists and push them toward making an extra effort and making them believe they have defeated the American administration," Maliki said.

Yes, that's about as funny as anything can be that involves hundreds of thousands of corpses.

Beautiful!

I also enjoyed Hillary's complaint , in today's Times, that she is "cursed with the responsibility gene."

She got it half right. She's cursed.

Oh my, that Rice is so burned that it is beyond the powers of salvation, real or imagined. And that Hilary is by all the gods just plain hilarious.

Yesterday, Clinton said the US had to "get tougher on them." Them being the Iraqis, of course. I wonder how that's gonna work?

Thanks for that link, darrelplant.com. Loved! loved! loved! Sen. Clinton's incisive character sketch of those intractable, gotta-whack-'em-with-a-metaphorical-2-by-4 Iraqis. Especially her little snicker of exasperation at 3:38.

Sadly, I believe the Iraqi's escalating - I'm sorry, surging - taste for toughness will be sated only when our metaphorical-2-by-4 is a fusion-powered, double drum, visible-from-Mars steamroller, which proceeds to flatten everything from Dohuk to Basrah.

Since you and I pay Ms. Rice's wages, perhaps we should ask ourselves, "Am I getting my money's worth ?". Sometimes one is better served by keeping one's wallet in one's pocket than opening it up over a pretty face.

Condi will have the last laugh when Maliki gets Diemed. Speaking of Hillary, did y'all see that her people are putting out the word that *gasp!* Barack Obama was raised a Muslim?

Posted by: Lloyd at January 18, 2007 10:02 PM

With a name like Obama, I can see where Hillary would use that to dodge real issues in a stand off. I fail to see where Mr. Barack's religious preference has to do with anything. Perhaps Ms. Clinton believes we really are in a Holy War.

Race baiting is un-PC. But it's still cool, even for liberals, to hyperventilate about Muslims. They're not gay-friendly! They make their women wear bags over their heads! Etc!

Perhaps Dr. Rice's "objectively pro-terrorist" remarks can be added to the long list of allegations against her to be adjudicated at a fair trial - hopefully in an international venue.

I haven't heard all the evidence, of course, but I suppose she might avoid conviction on THAT count - but if convicted on others, I hope she receives punishment to the full extent of the law.

Trial or no trial, we still need someone else as head of The (OUR) State Department. Such rhetoric can in no way be concidered diplomacy. George made yet another FOOLISH MISTAKE letting Powell leave that office.

It's the salad says for "terrorists" when their adversaries are led by drooling incompetents and mindless militarists like Condi, her husband, and Shooter.

Funny to hear our puppet say as much though.

And fuck Colin Powell. He belongs in the Hague with the rest of the war criminals for his risible lies that helped sell this Iraq debacle, not heading up the State Department.

Posted by: ran at January 19, 2007 09:38 PM

salad days, rather.

Posted by: ran at January 19, 2007 09:39 PM

This is AMERICAN POLITICS, there's NONE of us that don't belong in front of the Hague, by virtue of the fact we REFUSE to stop paying for this. Me included. At least Powell has got some common sense. That beats the rest of this crowd, hands down.

Posted by: Mike Meyer at January 20, 2007 10:15 PM

Ok, but tough to put 300 million people in the Hague.

Let's start with the despicable douchebags who lied us into this clusterfuck: Bush,Cheney,Powell,Rice,Rumsfeld, Feith, Wolfowitz,Libby.

Common sense without principles besides his own personal advancement is pretty worthless.

Posted by: ran at January 21, 2007 10:07 AM

I suppose the point's moot. At least he put SOME effort to the Palestinian problem, which has turned to shit under Condi. You're right that the whole crowd needs to be tried in some court of law, including Powell.
