Last Night's Vigils

There are some great reports on the vigils last night on the After Downing Street site.

There are also further reports and pictures on the Moveon site.

Nat Parry, friend of this site and son of Bob Parry of Consortium News, was at the White House vigil. There's a Malaysian Times article about it, including a teeny-tiny picture of Nat, here.

"Maybe now that Cindy Sheehan's getting divorced, she can finally fulfill her fantasy of marrying Osama Bin Laden."

--Michelle Malkin, September 16, 2005

"We've uncovered evidence that Cindy Sheehan's son, with his dying breath, wrote in his blood, 'My mother's a nutcase. Don't listen to her. And don't stop until the mission's accomplished, even if thousands more young men and women are killed for no reason, except maybe something about oil and hegemony and large exurban houses . . . oh, and God Bless America.'"

It is somewhat ironic that the article is from the Malaysia Times, and Malaysia has one of the most ridiculously uptight censorship systems on God's Green Earth (not that Singapore is much better, but still...)
