Comments: Please Support Glenn Greenwald and Salon

Greenwald's prediction of what is going to happen to Elizabeth Warren if she wins the Senate seat seems all too likely. She's going to have to buddy up with the corrupt, not only on Wall Street but within Congress, to get on the committees she wants to be on where she could make a difference. And in doing so, she's going to destroy herself.

She's not going to ever "make a difference" that way. A Senator just gets to make more decisions, or appear to, and get more press by being on the right committee. That's not the same as making a difference.

My cynicism must have fermented, but I just can't think of Glenn Greenwald as being comparable to I.F. Stone. I do respect Glenn Greenwald though.

I also can't agree that Salon is "trying to reinvent itself to play a useful, creative role in our coming decade of global class war."
Salon is a business, and even if you like its message, it's good to remember that or you'll get your heart broken again.

Salon is reinventing itself? So, we should all hope for change we can believe in?

I didn't know you could corrupt a fairly generic great white hope cruise missile liberal like Warren. As far as Salon goes I can't support anything that give Joan Walsh a platform to speak.

Well said Jonathan.

If we can develop a vaccine for the toxins of power you and Glenn will not have to work so hard in these areas.
