Yes, it doesn't make sense unless you know the video game Portal over whose ending credits it plays. But if you do, it's genuinely a work of near-genius.

It must be said that, while the Coulton song is awesome, 90% of the work of this song is the genius of the Valve writers, mostly Erik Wolpaw and Chet Faliszek, who created a really great character in GLadOS, the psychotic/lovelorn AI who courts/persecutes you throughout the game. I haven't heard anything else of Jonathan Coulton's that I've liked nearly as much.

the female vocals are a bit to fariy - on - helium sounding to me. and why does everyone over annunciate these days(especially the narrators of documentary films) when they record? its creepy and mealy mouthed sounding. but thanks for posting.
