Jon, is something wrong with the comments?

I don't think so, Jon. Why do you ask?

Listen to you!

Why do you say the video is "not 100% flawless"? Sure, there's the "end the occupation so I don't have to fell guilty about it" schtick, but I figure that's just the logical consequence of fifty years of seeing that appeals on behalf of the Palestinians - as human beings deserving of fair treatment - don't work when speaking to those in power.

ON TOTN (NPR)today some former White House Official (no, don't remember his name after only 10 minutes) sayz Palestine HAS a state and it IS GAZA. I now wonder IF the WhiteHouse was under that opinion all this time, what are the legal implications?

I remember someone arguing, during the war - maybe someone linked from here, even, which is likely - that legally, controlling the borders of a state means you're still an occupying power, and subject to all the legal requirements an occupier must abide by (not that Israel ever has). Also, who exactly has recognized the independence of the Palestinian state?

Regarding the lack of flawnessness--

I thought it was fine. I know about the criticisms of some Israeli liberals, that they worry more about their own consciences or Israel's self-image than about the actual Palestinians, and there are much worse things one could say about some of the so-called liberals who, for instance, defended Israel's attack on Gaza, but I don't think any of that applies here. She sounds like a good person who is hurt when she sees other people suffering.

The only criticism I'd have (maybe this is what you're thinking of) is that maybe it should include some gruesome scenes--I thought of sending this to a Christian Zionist friend and can imagine him thinking "Well, standing in line doesn't compare to suicide bombing". There are a lot of answers to that and I suppose one can't squeeze them all into a four minute video.

This was beautiful.

Thanks for posting this video Jonathan. It's nice to see a little sanity in the face of so much destruction and anger.

Beautiful. This truly must be the best of all possible worlds.
