Comments: More Evidence Of UN's Shameful Bias Against Israel

THAT'S WHY they are called "smartbombs". AND NOBODY makes 'em smarter than the USofA.

Them rockets ain't too smart, that's why the kill numbers are low on the other side.

This could be like a mini London Blitz. With Ashdod playing London, everybody in the shelters waiting for the buzz bombs. And Gaza gets to play 24/7 bombing of Dresden.

Ok Jon, so what's the explanation? Why is the UN Sec-Gen soft on Israel?

Does the Israel lobby of the US dominate the UN too? Is he too scared of the US reaction?

Seriously, he has nothing to lose by condemning Israeli aggression in the strongest terms he desires. So why is he holding back?

If the Palestinians had ANY sense at all they'd get OLIE NORTH's phone number of the web and buy some decent AMERICAN MADE hardware that would "do the job" instead of those homemade rockets.

OLIE could probably use some coin these dayz, times being what they are.

But, you forgot to factor in the calculation that 1 Israeli = 100 Palestinians. Then it's more or less equivalent.

"Seriously, he has nothing to lose by condemning Israeli aggression in the strongest terms he desires. So why is he holding back?"

Because he represents the entire world, and he knows perfectly well that virtually the entire world supports Israel. The Palestinians lost their battle in the court of world opinion long ago, decades ago. Everyone is saddened that the Israelis are driven to such extremes, but it is almost universally acknowledged that they are in the right, are engaging in legitimate and legal self-defense, and that if the Palestinians really wanted peace they'd recognize Israel and end the war. To most people this is an ancient issue that was decided a long time ago. All anyone can do is hope that the Palestinians will finally surrender and recognize Israel. That's the only way the war that the Palestinians began can ever end.

Wow.

Well, whatever gets you through the night.
