Comments: The Greatest

Dude probably invented hip-hop as we knew it. The man was one of the few athletes (perhaps the only?) that was also a natural born poet. I wrote a paper about him in college once.

Who but 'THE GREATEST' would have the wisdom to say it, to mean what he said and do what he believed!

I think I'll watch 'When We Were Kings' tonight.
Cheers!

So many great Ali anecdotes...

my favorite, though, is the one told by Norman Mailer in which – and I'm paraphrasing of course – Ali came up to Mailer and his then young wife at some function, charmed Mailer's pants off, so to speak, and when Mailer then left to use the washroom, Ali immediately asked his wife "What you doin' with that old man?"

Not just the greatest - the double greatest! Sadly, I can't find that bit on YouTube.
