Comments: New TomDispatch

Can you put up a foto of Tom so we can judge whether he knows what he's talking about? And does *he* speak Arab-speak?

Brother, what a dreary blowhard. Tom Blowhard.

I just read about some 117 year old geezer. I have a new goal in life: make it to 118, and find a hot new GF 100 years younger than me. : )

and even if you folks are trying not to respond, I *know* I'm getting under your skin.

two greatest accomplishments in life: I made a Damascus taxi driver cry because he was furious that I cheated him when he was planning to cheat me, and making one of my dumb bunny law profs cry in class by mocking her.

oh I see the euro is 1.56. suckers : )

advice: learn something useful, move somewhere interesting, make money and chase girls instead of whining about mean ole Cheney : (

NOT ME xyz, I think ALL YOU guys from Quebec are interesting and funny. It's the diversity of opinion and the outrageous stories that I enjoy best. (I like the way YOU foreigners, try to write AMERICAN, too) (ot: I drove through Atlanta once and ate at KFC so I HAVE had the experience of fine Georgian dining.)Plus, as a CITIZEN OF WYOMING, I feel like saying whatever the fuck I want about MY COUSIN DEADEYE.

I think xyz is going to end up paying big bucks for someone to have sex with him, just like Eliot. Sad life.

Even sadder is this article, which could also be the First Seventh Anniversary..... First Eighth Anniversary........ First Ninth Anniversary..... and so on.

I think the way we are going to cut funding for this war is to have the US totally crash economically.

A solution that suggests itself (that way it isn't my fault) is to hand it over to Iran. I know, what a terrible idea. But maybe not as bad as creating another Sadaam and propping up his regime (cheaper than the current occupation). Or continuing to occupy, that doesn't seem very good either.
I would be super happy if all the people in the region got together and worked toward a common goal. Except that it seems likely that the common goal would be to expel the US presence, which would lead to more violence.
Maybe I will live long enough to see it resolved.

I like the way YOU foreigners...

Mike, he said he voted for Dean (in a thread demonstrating his proggy bona fides). Can foreigners vote for Dean?

And Iran will provide the national security bona fides for the candidates. All that's missing is the attack on the US warships by slow moving dinghys and the effectively taunting voice trolling the military radio waves.

angryman: Yes, and he said he has a Ukranian 19 yr old girlfriend, too. The best way to find out is ask----

xyz, if YOU don't mind me asking, "are YOU a Citizen of the United States of America as per the definition and limitations described in THE 14 ADMENDENT OF THE U.S. CONSTITUTION?"

AMENDENT---gotta learn how to spell.(and proofread)

angryman: Yes, and he said he has a Ukranian 19 yr old girlfriend, too.

Mike, having a 19-year old Ukranian girlfriend is no large feat. That's why there's a market for Russian/foreign brides to fill the needs of those unsated.

I used to think that only losers trolled for young flesh in eastern Europe and the republics, but then there's "The Donald" legitimizing the process. So many Donald wannabe's (on HDTV apprentice) that I can see some cheap cachet in it among our trendy youth.

I was hoping that he'd post pictures of these conquests, because words don't do it justice. Not here, but on his blog. I could use some actually useful financial and geopolitical advice, although I suspect that it's of such high quality that it would be either behind a paywall or on a fee for access basis. A finance, geopolitics and petroindustry newsletter perhaps?
